What if you recognized this world is an hallucination? What if you really understood you made it up?
What if you realized that those who seem to walk about in it, to sin and die, attack and murder and destroy themselves, are wholly unreal? Could you have faith in what you see, if you accepted this? And would you see it?Jesus, A Course in Miracles
You are not the victim of the world you see because you invented it. You can give it up as easily as you made it up. While you want it you will see it; when you no longer want it, it will not be there for you to see.
~ Jesus, A Course in Miracles
What but Christ’s vision would I use today, when it can offer me a day in which I see a world so like to Heaven that an ancient memory returns to me?
Today I can forget the world I made.
Today I can go past all fear, and be restored to love and holiness and peace. Today I am redeemed, and born anew into a world of mercy and of care; of loving kindness and the peace of God.
~ Jesus, A Course in Miracles L306
Let not my world obscure the sight of Christ.
~ Jesus, A Course in Miracles L.304
Lord, our eyes are opening at last… Now we see that darkness is our own imagining, and light is there for us to look upon. Christ’s vision changes darkness into light, for fear must disappear when love has come.
